    "$375.00"
The house smelled of sewage, and our plumbers suggested we call American Leak Detection of Oklahoma City. The process went very well. The crew (Jerry and Brandon) found the source, which was an unused toilet in the upstairs rooms of the house. The water in the bowl had evaporated, which leads to a trap in the toilet not preventing the sewage gases from escaping and getting into the air-conditioning system. American Leak Detection has a standard 2-hour minimum rate of $375; because this literally involved simply flushing a toilet, they charged us only half of their standard rate! That was VERY decent of them. They were polite, professional young men and it was a pleasure to deal with them. Thank you, Jerry, Brandon, and American Leak Detection of Central Oklahoma.
    - Really great experience
    "Pool Leak Resolved"
I had a serious leak in my new pool so obviously my wife and I where more than a little concerned. American Leak Detection drove two (2) hours the same day that I called and located it within a couple of inches. The technician was very friendly and professional, and the cost was more than reasonable for all of their effort and time. I would highly recommend this business if you have a leak issue.

"American Leak Detection / Honost Service at Reasonable Price"
American Leak Detection, 405-728-1413, just completed my leak repair. They were able to do a push through rather than reroute overhead, as I didn't want the hassle of breaking up the slab, and the push through was a little cheaper than going overhead. They even installed a ball cock shut off valve at the manifold, just as I requested. Approximately 2 hours from start to finish. Prior to the job, Chuck went above and beyond when he went back and forth with me via email (at least 12 emails), and he never once brushed me off for being to hard to work with. I am a State Certified Residential Appraiser (OK10013CRA) of 35+ years, and an Appraiser Investigator, so yes I am very inquisitive and methodical in my thinking process and dictation, much more so than the typical person, but Chuck continued to answer all my questions without hesitation, and even gave me a ballpark quote before visiting my property - which alone saved me a lot of time and stress. FYI: My six month research of the Leak Detection business revealed that it is a tight nitch bunch, very few of which will provide "over the phone" quotes for piping reroutes and such, but most do offer about the same price for basic 2 hour no guarantee detection. American Detection came highly recommended to me by an employee at Locke Supply, as I originally planned on going with a competitor with H & T in their name, based on they being referred to me from a couple close friends, but the H&T Representative I spoke to over the phone got frightened away when I commented, off the cuff, that I'm in the wrong business and need to become a Leak Detector at $150 per hour (2 hour minimum) with no guarantee that I will find the leak.........what a money making business which requires no license. I waited 4 hours for H & T to call me back, only to imply that he was hesitant to do my job because he didn't want any Plumbers (which I'm not) present, or otherwise to train somebody as to how to perform a leak detection. I cancelled setting up a repair appointment and ended the call by implying I didn't want someone that weak that they are afraid a homeowner/prospective client was going to steal their company leak detecting process secrets. Overall, I give American Leak Detection 5 out of 5 stars and I will continue to use them in the future, as well as refer them to my present and future Real Estate Appraisal clients (GSE's, FHA/HUD, FannieMae, Banks, Homeowners, Etc) who often ask for my recommendation for various Service Providers.
